8-day Galapagos an Experience Tour Itinerary

Day 1. AM Welcome to Baltra Airport at The Galapagos Islands – Craters Twins – PM Private Natural Reserve (Giant Tortoises) – Puerto Ayora town. (L)
Start off your 8 days Galapagos Tour with a visit to the popular Crater Twins. These geological formations are sure to impress. After that, get ready to say hello to some Giant Tortoises at El Chato Natural Reserve. Finally, you’ll make your way to Puerto Ayora Town in the afternoon.
Overnight: Puerto Ayora

Remarks: Once we’ve picked up all our passengers from the airport, we’ll be kicking off our excursion right away. Don’t worry about your luggage; it will be securely stored on the bus for the duration of the excursion.
Day 2. AM Excursion Bay Tour (snorkeling) – PM Tortuga Bay beach (Hiking). (B-L)
Day two of your 8-day Galapagos Scenery tour is all about discovering the dazzling marine life surrounding the islands. In the morning, you’ll take a Bay Tour and go snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters. You’ll encounter colorful fish species, sea turtles, and other fascinating creatures below.
You’ll also visit the stunning Tortuga Bay Beach. Here you can relax on the soft sand as you admire the tranquil, turquoise waters. With all these activities planned, you’ll be happy to know that delicious breakfast and lunch meals are included.

Remarks: The hike to Tortuga Bay is 45 minutes each way.
Day 3. AM/PM Full day tour Floreana Island or similar one (snorkeling). (B-L)
Get ready for an unforgettable Day 3! Our full-day adventure to Floreana Island in the Galapagos promises incredible sights and thrilling experiences. Spend your day exploring the island’s unique landscapes and enjoying fantastic snorkeling opportunities in its crystal-clear waters.

Day 4. AM Coffee farm – PM Garrapatero Beach. (B-L)
Day 4 brings a delightful mix of flavors and relaxation. Start your morning with an engaging tour of a local coffee farm, learning about the journey from bean to cup. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the beautiful Garrapatero Beach in the Galapagos, where you can unwind on the sand or take a refreshing dip. Lunch are provided, making for a perfect day!

Day 5. AM 07:00 Visit to Isabela Island: pink Flamingos habitat – Arnaldo Tupiza breeding center – PM Tintoreras (swimming with sharks). (B-L)
On day five of the itinerary, you’ll embark on an exciting excursion to Isabela Island. You’ll get up close and personal with pink flamingos in their natural habitat. Then, you’ll explore Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center. This tortoise-rearing center is home to about five species of giant tortoises, which have been bred in captivity.
Calling all thrill-seekers, a trip to Tintoreras provides you with the opportunity to swim with sharks. Overnight in Isabela Island

Day 6. AM Hiking to Sierra Negra volcano –PM back to Santa Cruz Island. (B-L)
This day, we are thrilled to begin our excursion with an invigorating hike towards the towering Sierra Negra Volcano. We’ll journey through remarkable landscapes, anticipating the moment we stand before its remarkably large and impressive crater, a testament to nature’s power.
After a jam-packed day of excitement, you’ll make your way back to Santa Cruz Island, where you can relax and recharge.

Day 7. AM/PM Full day tour Seymour Island or similar one (snorkeling). (B-L)
Today, your Galapagos itinerary brings you to Seymour Island (or an exciting alternative), focusing on its exceptional biodiversity. As a vital living laboratory, Seymour showcases an incredible range of endemic flora and fauna.
We’ll explore unique Seymour landscapes, observing plant and animal inhabitants and the delicate ecosystem balance. This day promises an insightful Galapagos natural experience centered on Seymour Island’s unique wildlife.
Overnight: Puerto Ayora

Day 8. AM/PM Transfer out to Baltra airport. (B)
On the final day of your Galapagos 8-day itinerary, you’ll be transferred to Baltra Airport and make your way home.

Remarks: We’ll coordinate your last transfer back to the airport to align with your departure flight.

Recommendations
For excursions, please take solar protection, cap or hat, bathing suit, long-sleeved shirt, water bottle, camera, appropriate shoes for wet landings and hikes on lava terrain (sneakers or similar) with thick soles. Expedition staff will give further details and recommendations, as well as more natural history background, the night before. Lunch is served on board the yacht during excursions (Bartolome, Seymour or similar ones). Please let us know of any dietary restrictions.
