Quito City Tour and “Middle of the World” Tour

In the morning, we pick you up from your hotel. This tour covers Quito’s two most important sectors: The modern and the old colonial section, we will visit the imposing neo-Gothic church Basilica del Voto Nacional, the Basilic of Quito. Then we walk around independence square, the heart of Quito, surrounded by the Government Palace, The Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace , and the city hall.

Our journey continues to El Panecillo, a iconic hill soaring to 3,000 meters (10,000 feet) above Quito. Here, the majestic Virgin of Quito statue stands proudly, offering a spiritual and visual landmark. Then we will drive 45 minutes to the Northwest of the city in order to go to the Middle of the World also called “equatorial” or” equator line “, where you can pose your feet in the North and South hemisphere simultaneously, we will visit the very interesting museum (Intiñan) where you can conduct scientific experiments and know more about the history of that place. Return to your hotel for overnight.
