Early in the morning, we will depart through the Avenue of the Volcanoes to visit Cotopaxi National Park. We will have a short hike in the National Park and your guide will explain about the flora and fauna in the area.
The park is a haven for nature enthusiasts and avid hikers. There are a variety of hiking trails, and you’ll be filled with wonder and awe throughout the entire journey. The trails range from easy to advanced skill levels, and each provides breathtaking vistas of the park’s landscapes.
As you trek through the park, you’ll see lush vegetation, exotic wildlife, and pristine lakes. Keep your eyes peeled for white-tailed deer, red brocket deer, Andean fox, pumas, wild horses, the rare Andean speckled bear, and other animals roaming around.
The scenery is so beautiful; you’ll feel like you’re walking in a postcard. From the towering mountains to the shimmering lakes and everything in between, there’s so much to see and discover in the park. And the adventure doesn’t stop there!

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to the south part of the Andes and arrive at Baños town the Gate to the Rain Forest. We will start our tour by visiting the impressive Agoyan hydroelectric Dam, and visit one of the most amazing visitor sites of Baños, El Pailón del Diablo well known as The Devil’s Cauldron, an impressive waterfall with a drop of approximately 80 meters (260 feet).
