This majestic volcano is the heart of the Antisana Ecological Reserve, in which we find unique landscapes of moorlands.
Antisana is a stratovolcano of the northern Andes of Ecuador, the fourth-highest volcano in Ecuador (5.753 m – 18,874 ft). It is composed of lava flows, numerous volcanic breccias and pyroclastic flow deposits, glacial processes, and Andean forests and evolution have created amazing scenery along the way and very diverse wildlife.
Your tour guide will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Quito.
We will drive uphill way to the Ecological Reserve! At 3.810 meters (12,500 ft), through Pintag village.
You have big opportunities to spot very interesting fauna.
Lunch in a local restaurant (optional).
Return to Quito in the afternoon, you will be in your hotel approximately at 4:00 p.m.
